Welcome to our Chapter’s Website!
The National Association of Women in Construction was formed in 1953 by 16 women in the construction industry in Fort Worth, Texas. Currently, there are more than 150 chapters nationwide and almost 4,000 members. Globally, NAWIC has affiliates in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
NAWIC Louisville is proud to be part of this long-standing and growing network. Our chapter brings the national mission to life at a local level by connecting women across the Louisville and Southern Indiana construction community through education, leadership opportunities, and meaningful professional relationships. We are focused on supporting women at every stage of their careers while strengthening the construction industry right here in our region.
